Trying to run any kind of plastic through an inkjet printer will jam the printer. Even if you could run the plastic through the printer, plastic requires special inks. Inkjet ink will smudge/not dry on plastic. You might even consider just printing on a good quality photopaper for inkjet printers, then getting the fake id cards laminated. That will give you some thickness for the cards and also makes sure they are glossy both from the paper and the lamination.
